  • Will L Squared pass our IT security review?
    L Squared is SOC 2 Type II audited and ISO 27001:2022 certified, and encrypts data with AES-256. An independent firm penetration-tests it twice a year. It supports single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and role-based access, and it can lock down USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and network access on each device. Yodeck publishes ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, but no SOC 2 report or penetration-testing schedule. Ask us for our reports under NDA.
  • Can we keep our hardware when we switch from Yodeck?
    In most cases, yes. L Squared runs on Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android, BrightSign, ChromeOS and Windows, plus the Amazon Signage Stick and Fire TV Stick. If you use Yodeck's Raspberry Pi players, our team will confirm what can be reused, or replace them with our LP5 player. Share your display models and we will check compatibility before you buy anything new.

    Yes. L Squared connects to Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Google Workspace, Zoom and Canva, with 100+ widgets in total. Enterprise plans add custom-built integrations, so dashboards, news and documents update on your screens without anyone rebuilding them by hand.
  • What happens when a screen loses its internet connection?
    The player keeps showing its last downloaded content, so the screen does not go blank. L Squared monitors device health and sends email alerts when a player goes offline, so you hear about a problem before your customers do. Yodeck players keep playing for up to 30 days offline, and then playback stops.
  • Can L Squared show emergency alerts?
    Yes. You can push an urgent message to every screen or only to the locations affected, then remove it centrally when it is over.
